Moosewalk Gallery
Moosewalk Gallery is located on the picturesque, Lincoln Gap Road in the Mad River Valley town of Warren, Vermont. The gallery is located in beautiful gardens and a pine grove adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest. As the name implies, moose do frequent the property.
The original works and giclee prints of award winning watercolorist Gary Eckhart and the fine art photography of Roarke Sharlow are the focus of the charming, intimate gallery. The gallery also features the finely crafted, Vermont folk art of Lisa and Brent Hilliker. Large scale, metal sculpture by local sculptor Mark Schwabe can be found in the outdoor sculpture garden with his smaller bronzes on display indoors. Gary and/or Roarke are always available to guide you through the gallery and answer any questions you might have.
Folk Art of Lisa and Brent Hilliker
The comfortable gallery, set up in the style of a living room, allows one to view the art much as it might be seen in a home. The gallery, entry porch with its twin rockers and the surrounding gardens are a great place to sit, relax and enjoy.
The gallery is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except holidays or by appointment) but are open most other days from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Shows and involvement with the Vermont Festival of the Arts may cause us to close unexpectedly. A call to confirm times (802.583.2224) or schedule an appointment is suggested. Other times of the year are by appointment only.
