About Moosewalk Studios & Gallery

The Gallery

Moosewalk Gallery is located on the picturesque, Lincoln Gap Road in the Mad River Valley town of Warren, Vermont. Here you will find art depicting Vermont landscapes, New England subjects and other fine art watercolors and photographs.

The original works and giclee prints of award winning watercolorist Gary Eckhart and the fine art photography of Roarke Sharlow are the focus of the charming, intimate gallery. The gallery also features select works by guest artists and sculpture in the outdoor sculpture garden.

The comfortable gallery allows you to view art much as it might be seen in your home. It is a great place to sit, relax and enjoy. Visit our studio and see the artists at work!

The Studios

Located within Moosewalk Gallery, the studios are the creative domain of award-winning watercolorist Gary Eckhart and fine art photographer Roarke Sharlow. Here you will find the artists working on fine art watercolors and photographs of iconic New England subjects.

Gary’s painting station awaits immediately inside the entry with the most current watercolor-in-progress laid out for viewing.

Roarke’s studio is adjacent to the main gallery. His digital lab houses a state of the art, archival printer.

The Moosewalk Grounds

Moosewalk Studios & Gallery is situated in the midst of five acres of pristine property adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest with excellent views of Lincoln Gap and the Green Mountains. Lush gardens, split rail fences, and stands of hardwoods and evergreens abound for our guests to enjoy while visiting our studios and gallery.

While visiting, you are welcome to explore the grounds. During warmer weather, you might enjoy having a picnic lunch on the lawn or deck. You might even spot a moose!

Lincoln Gap Road is known throughout Vermont for its scenic beauty at any time of the year. Portions of the road are located in the Green Mountain National Forest and wildlife is abundant. Deer, moose, fox, and turkeys are only a few of the species that frequent the area.
